Subjugators are advanced combat units utilized by Null Sector, armed with the ability to 'subjugate' Omnics by attaching neural suppressors to their heads.

Summary

Subjugators are first encountered in gameplay in Liberation, where they appear multiple times as the main threat to Claire Hopper and Reggie Buckworth throughout Toronto. They are large floating robots, unarmed and which ignore attackers, being instead employed to abduct omnics. They do this by attaching a neural suppressor onto an omnic's head, disabling them.^[1][2] To achieve this, they are equipped with tractor beams that can be used to pull in their foes, after which the Subjugator latches on and attaches the suppressor. ^[1]

Subjugators were first seen in action during Null Sector's assault on Toronto.^[3] They were also seen during attacks on the Atlantic Arcology,^[4] Numbani,^[5] and Las Vegas.^[2]

Destroyed Subjugators can be found littered across the map in Resistance.

Tactics

Subjugators will ignore players and instead focus on trying to abduct NPC omnics, but do not ignore them; if Claire or Reggie are captured, the mission will automatically fail.
