The Echo Project was an Overwatch projected headed up by Dr. Mina Liao.

History

The Echo Project was built around the idea of creating an adaptive robot for use in the field. Research was conducted in secret[1] in a facility in Oslo, Norway,[2] where a robot prototype was created. Blackwatch agent Cole Cassidy helped keep the project secret and served as a bodyguard for Liao.[1]

The project was terminated after Liao's death[1] in an attack by Talon on numerous Overwatch faculties in Oslo,[2] and the robot placed in quarantine.[1]
