The scoreboard is a user interface feature in Overwatch 2. The scoreboard displays general statistics for each player in a match, and can be viewed by pressing the Tab key. It also includes a panel to the right, only visible to the player currently playing that hero, that shows hero-specific statistics.

Interactive Scoreboard

Players can interact with the Scoreboard (default: Mouse3) to gain an easy access to the following social features:

• Adjusting Mic Volume of other players
• Adjusting your Mic Volume
• Reporting other players
• Joining/Leaving Team Voice Chat
• Joining/Leaving Group Voice Chat
• Muting Team Text Chat
• Muting Match Text Chat
• Muting Text Chat of other players

Statistics

There are six categories on the scoreboard that are visible to all players during a match:

• Eliminations (E): The total number of eliminations the player has contributed unhealed damage to, including those they did not get the final blow for.
• Assists (A): The number of eliminations in which a player "assisted." An Assist is when an ability other than one which directly deals damage contributes to a kill.
  • A player must boost the ally's damage (i.e., Mercy's damage beam, Baptiste's Amplification Matrix) or apply a status effect to the enemy (i.e., Ana's Sleep Dart, Mei's freeze) to receive an assist. The player must contribute within a certain amount of time after the player receives damage to get an assist; this varies based on the type of effect applied.^[1]
  • Support heroes have "Offensive Assists," in which the player boosts the ally's damage; and "Defensive Assists," in which the player heals the ally as they get the elimination. Both of these contribute to their total assists during a match.
• Deaths (D): The number of times the player has been eliminated.
• Damage (DMG): How much hero damage a player has dealt.
• Healing (H): How much healing a player has done, including self-healing.
• Mitigated damage (MIT): The amount of damage a player has "mitigated" by shielding or reducing damage.

Hero-specific stats

Each hero one or two role-specific stats displayed at the top-right corner of the scroreboard and various statistics specific to the hero displayed to the right of the general scoreboard. These are also shown to the player after the match. These represent the player's ability usage and effectiveness. The following list only contains statistics specific to that hero's abilities, rather than general ones.

General definitions:

• "Kills" in this section refer to eliminations after being hit by the ability; these do not have to be final blows.
• "Accuracy" also counts shots that hit any object that is not a barrier. Weapons and abilities that can hit multiple targets may - depending on the ability - increment the statistic for each enemy hit or only for the first enemy hit.
• "Critical hit accuracy" stat is in reference to the amount of shots that hit an enemy rather than total amount of shots.
• "Long range final blows" require the target to be at least 25 meters away.
